Women BuildHelp Support Women Build—DONATE TODAY!
Women Build is designated by a Habitat affiliate and project-managed and built entirely by crews of women volunteers. Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East's Women Build program engages women of every race, age, and skill level to plan and build all aspects of a healthy and affordable home with an eligible family. Through participating in the project, women have the opportunity to gain skills and confidence by working with an all-women team of crew leaders, volunteers and tradeswomen in a supportive and empowering building environment. The 2008 Women Build is well underway. We're currently building the Ramirez-Vargas home at 6627 NE Mallory, Portland, OR 97211. The build days are Thu-Sat of each week. To sign up, please click the 'Volunteer Now!' box below and reserve the days you can help out.
